Sweet Potato Trial: Increase Yield and Improve Growth with Albit® 2016

Roland Wood Farm - Benson, NC | 2016

Albit® Delivers Bigger Sweet Potatoes and Bigger Returns
This Sweet Potato Trial, conducted in Benson, NC (2016), compared untreated fields to plots treated with Albit® during planting. The results showed a dramatic improvement in both plant growth and harvestable yield when Albit® was applied.

Untreated plots suffered from poor tuber initiation and “balling,” leading to uneven sizing and reduced market quality. In contrast, Albit®-treated plants had vigorous growth, better root systems, and larger, more uniform tubers. Photos from the trial clearly show the difference in both canopy and harvested product.

Most importantly, the improved tuber development translated to a $900 per acre profit increase and an impressive return on investment. But to see exactly how many pounds were packed and what the ROI ratio came out to—you’ll want to check the full report.
