Canola Yield Trial: Boost Oil Content & Yields with Albit® 2011-12

Europe | 2011 - 2012

This Canola Yield Trial Shows Higher Quality and Better Returns
In this Canola Yield Trial, a single European rapeseed variety was tested under four treatment conditions to measure the impact of Albit® on yield and oil content. The treatments included a control, a standard pesticide-only program, pesticide plus one Albit® application, and pesticide plus two Albit® applications.

The results were clear: Albit® significantly improved crop performance when added to the spray program especially with two applications. Plants treated with Albit® showed:

  • Improved germination and stronger root systems
  • Reduced plant stress
  • Increased yield over the control and pesticide-only treatments
  • Higher oil content, increasing the market value of the crop
  • Lower chlorophyll content, associated with better seed development and quality

In contrast, the pesticide-only treatment showed higher chlorophyll levels—an indicator of poorer seed germination. The Albit®-treated plants not only looked healthier and more uniform but also produced more valuable harvests.

Why it matters:
More oil means more value. By helping plants manage stress and grow more uniformly, Albit® delivers measurable benefits in both yield and quality—especially when used twice during the season.
