Sweet Potato Trial: Improve Slip Rooting & Early Growth with Albit® 2016
Benson, NC | 2016
This Sweet Potato Trial Shows the Advantage of Stronger Starts
In this Sweet Potato Trial, conducted in Benson, NC (2016), Albit® was evaluated for its ability to improve slip rooting and early growth. Slips were soaked in Albit® solution and compared to slips soaked in clean water. The results? Noticeably faster and more vigorous root formation.
Within just 2–3 days, Albit®-treated slips developed denser, healthier roots than untreated slips. By day 7, the difference in total root mass was even more dramatic. Treated slips also showed earlier leaf growth and better resilience in transplant conditions.
This Sweet Potato Trial demonstrates how Albit® improves rooting by supporting early development, reducing stress, and enhancing nutrient uptake—giving growers more reliable, healthier slips.
